Our Mission:
Why Hire a Board Certified Attorney?
When you find yourself facing serious criminal charges, you want
someone who has already been tested for their expertise in Criminal
Trial Law.
Jordan is board certified in Criminal Trial Law by the Florida Bar. The
Florida Bar’s requirements to become board certified in Criminal Trial
Law are rigorous and include, among other things, a minimum of 25
trials, peer review from other attorneys and Judges, and a written
exam. In Florida, less than 7% of attorneys are board certified in any
subject, and less than 2% of lawyers in Florida hold Board
Certification in Criminal Trial Law--a distinction that signifies the
highest level of expertise and professionalism in the field.
All Board-Certified Criminal Trial Lawyers have met the Florida Bar's
highest standards for specialized knowledge, skills, and proficiency in
criminal trial law, as well as ethics in practice. Their experience and
competency have been rigorously evaluated through a demanding
certification process. The stringent requirements for legal expertise
and professional conduct provide the public with objective standards
to assess and trust an attorney’s qualifications.
Jordan Holmes is among the elite 2% of Florida attorneys who are
Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law. This certification sets her apart,
recognizing her exceptional skill, experience, and dedication to the
highest standards of legal excellence.
We care about representation, not
image.
Jordan knows that the opinions that matter
are not those of stuffy lawyers in offices that
have so much glass that they look like fish
tanks; the opinions that matter are the
opinions of the people that need our help.
When Jordan Holmes Law was founded, Jordan
did something unconventional. She did not call up
other attorneys; she called up her former clients.
She asked them what was needed in a criminal
defense attorney, where the best location would
be, and what values are important to people
needing representation.
By keeping overhead costs such as rent and
other expenses lower than most other attorneys,
we strive to provide legal services for an
affordable rate so that you know that the fees
you pay are being used for the things that matter
while ensuring that you still get expert
representation by a board certified attorney.
